For your attention
- No fasting is required for the week following the Sunday of the Pentecost (04/06/2017-11/06/2017).
- Fasting is recommended during the Lent of the Apostles Peter and Paul (12/06/2017-28/06/2017), with the exception of the feast of the Birth of St. John the Baptist & Forerunner (24/06/2017) when fish may be eaten.
- Please note that from Tuesday the 6th until Friday the 9th of this month, Fr. Timothy will not be available as he will be in Nottingham attending the annual Greek Orthodox Clergy Meeting – Apologies for any inconvenience.
- From Friday 09/06/2017 until Monday 12/06/2017 the Holy and Venerable Head of St. Panteleimon will be in London for first time ever. It will be hosted by the Community of St. Panteleimon in Harrow (HA3 9QN). Father Anastasios Salapatas, who is the Parish Priest, has invited us all to join him on this special and one off occasion. It will be a great blessing for us all if we take this unique opportunity!
In addition, on Saturday 24/06/2017 we are planning a trip to St. Anthony & St. John’s Church in London (N7 6RT) to celebrate the Birth of St. John the Baptist & Forerunner. For more details on both of the trips please feel free to ask either the Father or the President of our committee. Thank you!
