The Passing of Mr Panayiotis Christoforou
Dear friends
We are very saddened to announce the passing of Mr Panayiotis Christoforou, the retired President of our Church community.
Panayiotis was a much beloved member of our community, one of the early pioneers, who worked tirelessly, along with others, in the early days to establish our Church for us now to all receive the benefit – for this we are all very grateful.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Panayiotis wife, Caroline, and her dear family, and may God give them the strength now to get through this difficult period.
Panayiotis funeral will be held at our Parish on Monday 27th March at 12 noon. Please feel welcome to join us for this opportunity to pray and give thanks together to God to save and give rest to his soul.

New Years Day in Eastbourne – 2017
Today on New Year’s Day, we celebrate St Basil in the church! A beautiful sermon held by Father Timothy with many parishioners from the community there to celebrate!

The feast day for church a huge success
The feast day for the church was a huge success.
Lots of hard work and fun throughout the day.
We welcomed coaches from north London and held a bake sale, jewellery stall, tomboys and not to forget the Greek souvlakia (kebabs).
It was a wonderful day celebrating the church.

Eastbourne Greek School
Thinking about sending your children to Greek school?
Why not try Greek Orthodox Church of St Panteleimon and St Theodoros School based in Eastbourne. We are a small friendly Greek school that runs every Saturday from 11am to 4pm. We welcome all children from reception all the way to GCSE.
Eastbourne Greek School is held in the church hall on Saturdays starting at 11am. The students learn how to read, write and speak. They also learn about Greek culture and ethos to include, music, dance and much more. For the school year 2015-2016 classes will start on Saturday 13th September 2015 at 11am. Στο χώρο της εκκλησίας λειτουργεί κάθε Σάββατο ελληνικό σχολείο. Εκεί τα παιδιά μαθαίνουν ο,τι αφορά τη γλώσσα και τον πολιτισμό μας (ελληνικά, μουσική, χορό και άλλα πολλά!)
